Try 是尝试、luck是运气，try one's luck 碰运气
一下子就认识了两个表达“碰运气”的英语短语，可别再直译成touch luck了。
例1：
Mary decided to take pot luck at Lily's in case she hadn't gone out yet.
玛丽决定去莉莉家碰碰运气，万一她还没出门呢。
例2：
You should try your luck. You can fix it.
你应该碰碰运气，你可以把它修好的。
Be on the gravy train
Gravy 肉汁
Train 火车
Be on the gravy train“在充满肉汁的火车上”？千万别这么翻译，会笑翻别人的。这个短语可以用来形容一个人走运了。
Be on the gravy train 走运
例：Bob won the big prize and everyone said he on the gravy train.鲍勃中了大奖，大家都说他走运了。

Usual 一般的、寻常的
Business as usual 一切如常，照常营业，例行公事
像往常一样营业，自然就是“一切照旧”，引申出来，business as usual也有“家常便饭”的意思。顺带一提，上文提到的“Take pot luck”也有相同意思。
例1：Except for time, everything in her life is business as usual.除了时间发生了变化，她的生活一切如常。
例2：My colleague invited me to his home to take pot luck at 11:00 tomorrow.同事邀请我明天中午11点去他家里吃顿便饭。

我们常用“司空见惯”表示一件事物经常发生，已经不足为奇。司空见惯的英语表达你知道吗？

如果小伙伴觉得这句有点长，还可以记住“become used to”，同样表示“司空见惯、习以为常”。
例1：Henry likes to be alone very much. People in the town become used to it.亨利很喜欢自己独处，镇上的人都司空见惯了。
例2：She does yoga every day, that's always the case.她每天都做瑜伽，大家都习以为常了。
